After completion of the application form below, our team will meet with you and your dog VIRTUALLY or in person to assess how we can best help the most effectively and cost efficiently. This will include a comprehensive ~ 30-45 minute discussion to gage communication skills, trust, and the health of your pet. By doing so, we can design a training program that is right for everyone in your household….including children. Our state-of-the-art training facility is fitted with the most advanced technology that gives us the ability to meet in-person or via video conferencing. We strive to make this experience as easy and efficient as possible.

Why an application form? First and foremost, we have to make sure your dog is healthy so they can learn best (and if not healthy can guide you to get proper help) and that we’re all a good fit for learning. A dog is another ‘being’ in your household and we all have to be committed to putting in a reasonable amount of time to have a successfully trained pet and parents/family who in a sense are trained well too! This form will tell us a good bit about your pet, your home environment, how they currently behave and most importantly, in writing, what you want to accomplish. PUPPY PAW CAMP (6 TO 8 WEEK PROGRAM)
We can train your dog in less than 6 weeks if we all work together and complete the program. In other words, your family has to agree to focus on the training for a 6 week period so you can enjoy their good behavior for years to come.

Designed for puppies starting as young as 6 weeks, it’s never too early to start because Tim’s methods are force and harm free. This means training is anxiety free for your puppy.
Basics of good behavior are covered: come, sit, stay, walking by your side on and off leash, and potty training. Additionally, if you have some special needs like nipping or chewing on furniture.
Program begins with 1 training session to teach your dog and you what we call, “the basics of communication”.
WEEK AT PUPPY PALACE: Approximately 1 to 2 weeks later with a 6 day/5 night stay at the Puppy Palace where Tim and his team will work a great deal of time one-on-one with your dog. This includes

- Training as agreed
- Training materials in writing and video(s) for your easy learning and reference
- Massage therapy- this is not a spa massage but one to make sure your pet doesn’t have any knots or sore spots so they can be at optimal learning. For example, if they have a knot in a hind leg, it is hard for them to have full motion so Tim will massage and relieve it.
- Customized meals and premium treats- they’ll be very VERY active for their time with us so they’ll need more and better food than normal.
- Air-conditioned/heated sleeping quarters – they’ll sleep in grand style and learn how to spend the evening properly.
- YOU CAN VISIT while they’re at camp. If at all possible, we want you to come mid-week and do a session with your dog and Tim. This way you can really learn the protocols.

MANDATORY IN-HOME SESSION WITHIN 5 DAYS AFTER CAMP. This is critical so Tim can ‘transfer and transition’ what your dog learned at camp into your home with you and your family.
For the 3 weeks after your above in home session, we’ll do however many sessions we need to in order to assure your dog has been trained properly.
All during the training period you will have access to Tim via email, text or call for on the spot help. This is a really important benefit. We want to be able to work with you “in the moment” if you are having problems or questions.

Designed for dogs over 9 months old. Even well-behaved dogs have changing behavior characteristics that need new and different training.

Additional specific trainings to be determined. Often jumping and leash training.
Program begins with one training session to teach you and your dog what we call, “the basics of communication”.
WEEK AT PUPPY PALACE: Approximately 1 to 2 weeks later with a 6 day/5 night stay at the Puppy Palace where Tim and his team will work one-on-one with your dog. This includes

CONTINUING EDUCATION / REFRESHER

As your pup grows and matures, some new behaviors surface that you might want to try to correct. OR you might not have been practicing as you should have, etc. Send your pup back for a week of Paw Camp aka sports or boot camp with Tim and his trainers (Sunday late afternoon to Friday late afternoon). Includes the IMPORTANT post camp home visit within a week.

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION PAW CAMP (6 TO 8 WEEK PROGRAM)

Designed for dogs with behavior and or aggression problems.
Some dogs develop changing behavior characteristics that need new and different training.
Basics of good behavior are covered as a way to build new trust and habits: come, sit, stay, walking by your side on and off leash.
Additional specific trainings to be determined like nipping or biting or intense, aggressive barking. Behavior issues are difficult to work with and change. Time and patience are necessary.
The program begins with either an in person or Virtual session to get ready for your dogs stay with us.
This is followed approximately 1 week later with a 6 day/5 night luxurious stay at the Puppy Palace where Tim and his team will work one-on-one with your dog. This includes

- Training
- massage therapy. This is important to ascertain any stress points that lead to anxious behavior.
- customized meals with nutrition counseling and premium treats
- and air-conditioned sleeping quarters.

We will complete the program with 2 follow-up virtual or in person sessions to transition your dog’s new learned behaviors into your home environment.
Follow-up virtual call will occur 4 weeks after the last virtual session.

SELECTING JUST THE RIGHT PUPPY/DOG

Have Tim help you select just the right new companion.
There’s more to it than it sounds. A puppy might not be the best choice or it might be perfect for your needs. Maybe an older, already mostly trained rescue is just right. This is a big decision. Tim can help you make a thoughtful decision that can give you and a deserving pet years of happiness together.
Tim is the authorized pet trainer for the Catawba Valley Humane Society and has fostered and trained over 300 dogs.

A WEEK WITH TIM ON THE ROAD AT OUR NATIONS CAPITOL

This is an extraordinary opportunity for any dog at any age with almost any problems. Tim drives and spends a week a month in Washington, DC visiting clients and will take 1 dog with him from Sunday night to Friday evening or Saturday morning. This gives Tim the opportunity to see how your dog behaves 24/7 so he can correct and train for very special results. They’ll go visit the monuments, eat at restaurants, play at dog parks, socialize with friends and even visit a famous furniture store.

Prior to the visit, Tim will have a session if your dog has not been with us before. Shortly after returning home, it will be critical for Tim to do a session in your home to transfer and transition all your dog has learned with him.

Because this has to be tailored to your needs, we will have to have a conversation either on the phone or in person to start the process to do this in the most cost effective way possible.

BOARDING

We have limited space and only board for past and current clients. Ours is boarding like no other. No kennels and your dog will learn while with us as well as have tons of fun.

$85/night – Sunday through Thursday

$110/night – Friday, Saturday & Holidays
